Internship – Global Communications: Growth

“What stood out to me was how much room there is to grow, the team genuinely wants you to learn and actively gives you opportunities to branch out into different projects. You're treated as a real contributor, not just an intern. On top of that, getting an inside look at how a global beverage company operates at every level is a very fun learning experience!”

Lorena former Intern

The internship

As our intern, you will join the Global Communications Growth team and support communications that bring the most important EverGreen 2030 priority – Growth - to life. You’ll help deliver internal and external communications across a range of channels, including employee platforms, digital channels, social media and media engagement.

In this role, you will gain hands-on experience and provide essential support in various internal and external communication activities. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and collecting content for internal and external channels on a range of strategic topics
  • Supporting drafting messages and speakers notes for campaigns and storytelling
  • Helping organise impactful events, from global Town Halls to local Head Office moments
  • Contributing to editorial planning and content development across different formats
  • Supporting stakeholders across functions to ensure communications are aligned and engaging
  • Spot stories from across the business and capture them (including video recording and editing)
  • Collect data/metrics and build reports on comms performance

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organisation, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

Your new team and workplace

The Global Communications Growth team is part of Global Communications at HEINEKEN, within the Global Corporate Affairs function. Corporate Affairs also includes Global Public Affairs and Sustainable Development.

Our team helps bring HEINEKEN’s Growth agenda and EverGreen 2030 strategy to life, both internally and externally, in partnership with colleagues across global functions. Through storytelling and integrated communications, we help create a clear and consistent narrative that engages stakeholders across the business and beyond.
