As a Customer Support Consultant (WLO) – German and English speaker within the Water, Livestock, Poultry & Dairy, and OPTI diagnostic solutions (WLO) team, you will be supporting customers (both direct customers and distributors) with their order placement, order administration and troubleshooting with the aim of creating a best-in-class customer experience.

In this role:

  • You will be providing our Sales Reps, Customers and Partners with the right guidance to ensure a smooth order process and service.
  • Your customers will encompass both direct customers and distributors. To effectively attend to the distributors, you will need to manage import/export aspects such as secure export/import authorizations, develop proformas with regulatory, and check compliance, among others.
  • You will not only be serving external clients, but also internal IDEXX partners, such as Finance Business Operations, Sales and Technical Services, by taking care of their different needs and requests.
  • You will ensure the best possible use of technology (Salesforce/SAP) for a smooth process and maximum client satisfaction.
  • You will also have the chance to utilize your skills in different back-office tasks.
  • You will require effective communication skills for your continuous interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
  • You will lead by example and demonstrate emotional intelligence, humility and the ability to give and take constructive feedback.

What you need to succeed:

  • You are fluent in English and German, and preferably an additional European language.
  • You are passionate about helping and supporting customers and colleagues, bringing a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a customer-facing environment. Experience with import/export aspects will be a strong add.
  • You have the ability and drive to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, stakeholders and team members.
  • You love to communicate and know how to do so effectively.
  • Excellent computer skills and experience with CRM systems like Salesforce and SAP are a big plus.
