We're on the search for a senior communication expert with a passion for business strategy communications, PR and influencer strategy, leadership communications and employee engagement.

The Business Communications function is responsible for effectively protecting & enhancing the company's reputation and brand through business-specific communications, which includes corporate communications, crisis communications, PR/media relations, influencer and social strategy, executive positioning, CSR, and public affairs across all relevant stakeholder audiences. As the Senior Communications Manager leading communications for the Oral Healthcare/Sonicare Business Unit, you will be a trusted advisor and business partner to senior executives and their Leadership Team.

You will report to the Head of Business Communications Personal Health, and you'll be part of Philips’ Communications & Brand team.

Top jobs to be done:

From upstream strategy to day-to-day storytelling

  • Develop and lead proactive, upstream public relations, influencer and discoverability efforts for product and innovation launches, including media relations, influencer strategy, PR toolkits, and related activities. Strong media relations experience and global crisis communications experience are required.
  • Develop and implement the internal and external communications plan for Oral Healthcare/Sonicare, including support for internal engagements such as internal social media, town halls, and region visits, as well as customer and key opinion leader engagements and external thought leadership such as speaking engagements and LinkedIn.
  • Develop and deploy a long-term global employee engagement program, working closely with the Business Unit Leader, people leaders, People function, Business Excellence, and other involved functions to drive engagement and culture.
  • Lead cross-business initiatives across the Personal Health Business.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communication, Marketing or similar
  • You possess 8-10 years of experience in PR, media relations, influencer and social strategy (agency experience or global corporate CPG also highly desired)
  • Ability to cut through complexity with business acumen
  • Savvy at crafting messages that inspire action through timing, tone, and truth
  • Experience in aligning diverse and sometimes contrasting voices without losing momentum
  • Agility to deliver high-quality work fast, especially when the stakes are high and priorities are shifting
  • Complete comfort in and affinity with today’s fast-moving, complex digital media environment, with strong AI skills
  • Strong understanding of how communications drives alignment, performance and culture
  • Operates as a calm, credible voice in high-stakes or ambiguous situations
  • Knows how to balance speed and thoughtfulness — and what excellent looks like when it counts
  • Can easily shift between big-picture vision and operational detail at the same time
  • Fluency in English written and spoken
