Chemical Analyst LC-MS

Eurofins Spinnovation Analytical in Oss is looking for a Chemical Analyst for the GMP lab to perform various tests with a focus on LC-MS/MS. Initially this will be for about 6 months, with evaluation for extension. The starting date can be no later than July 20.

Eurofins Spinnovation Analytical in Oss is a GMP certificated and FDA inspected contract laboratory for the biopharmaceutical industry. The organization performs analytical R&D and QC testing and is the Center of Excellence of Eurofins for NMR and solid state characterization.

Job Description

As a Chemical Analyst in the QC laboratory, you are independently responsible for performing and reporting chemical analyses of pharmaceutical raw materials, intermediates, and/or finished products. Besides LC-MS (liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry), you could perform ICP or NMR tests. You will receive on-the-job training to perform these analytical techniques and to work according to international guidelines such as GMP, EP, and USP.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Analysis of pharmaceutical products with LC-MS and other tests according to relevant international guidelines;
• Sample preparation and processing;
• Reporting results to the project team within the quality standard and internally defined procedures;
• Ensuring the implementation, development, optimization, validation/calibration, and/or troubleshooting of analytical equipment;
• Designing and executing work plans for analyses and tests, compiling and reporting results in English;
• Participating in and supporting the quality system, including writing, implementing, and executing SOPs.

You apply established processes and procedures designed to ensure that the results of laboratory analyses are consistent, comparable, accurate, and within specific accuracy limits.

Qualifications

We are looking for a Chemical Analyst with at least one year of laboratory experience, preferably with LC-MS in a highly regulated environment like GMP or similar. You aspire to a position as a Chemical Analyst within a QC environment where complex and high-quality techniques are applied and work must be performed accurately.

You meet the following requirements:

• You hold a diploma at MBO or HBO / Bachelor level in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry / Chemical Engineering, Organic Chemistry, or a comparable education that makes you familiar with chemical analyses;
• You are a chemical analyst with at least one year of experience in a highly regulated lab;
• Preferably you have experience in a GMP (or GxP) laboratory;
• Preferably you have experience with LC-MS testing;
• You have strong communication skills and can work well in a team environment;
• You have a good command of the English language, both spoken and written. Proficiency in the Dutch language is helpful but not required;
• You are available for 32-40 hours a week on-site in Oss.
