As Chief of Staff Logistics, you are the strategic engine behind the scenes of bol’s logistics leadership team (LSvb). You co-orchestrate bol’s logistics strategy and execution by ensuring the logistics organization runs with clarity, focus, and momentum. You translate strategy into execution, ensure alignment across complex initiatives, and enable fast, well-informed decision-making. You act as the trusted partner to senior logistics leadership on topics across fulfilment, delivery, strategy, and partners. We improve the experience of millions of customers and partners, not by being in the spotlight, but by making sure everything behind it runs seamlessly. In this setup, the role is designed as a full, clear workload with room to grow on complex topics with the seniority to be a true sparring partner to the MT.

Is to create clarity and drive progress in a highly dynamic and cross-functional environment. You’ll connect the dots across strategy, operations, and stakeholders by turning input from many teams into clear priorities, decision-ready materials, and actionable plans. This includes facilitating leadership processes (OKRs, QBRs, reporting), aligning stakeholders, and ensuring follow-through on the most critical logistics topics. And you can do all this while being reliable under pressure, delivering high-quality output on short timelines, and influencing through alignment rather than hierarchy.
Your impact is direct: better alignment, sharper decisions, and faster execution across the logistics domain. You combine structure with judgment: you can keep a leadership rhythm running smoothly and improve the substance and decisions inside it. You translate messy input into crisp narratives, steer groups toward decisions, and ensure follow-through. You are the backbone of the LSvb management rhythm: preparing meetings, steering discussions to the right outcomes, and ensuring decisions are translated into action. If done well, the organization feels aligned, leadership meetings are sharp and effective, and strategic priorities actually land in execution.
Reporting to the Head of Logistics Strategy & Carrier Partnerships, you’ll operate at the heart of the logistics organization and work closely with the LSvb MT.

You’ll operate at the centre of bol’s logistics organization, working closely with senior leadership and teams across fulfilment, delivery, strategy and partners. You’ll be part of an ambitious environment that continuously evolves — from scaling fulfilment to optimizing carrier partnerships and shaping the future of last-mile delivery in the Netherlands and Belgium. You will report to the Head of Logistics Strategy and be part of the Logistics Strategy team.
