Join the sales & marketing team as an events & meetings intern, reporting to the head of groups & meetings.

The events & meetings intern is responsible for the day-to-day assistance within the groups & meetings team. They play a role in smooth communication with the hotels and the organizers. Other focuses are data entry, admin processes, and assisting on projects while working closely with the groups & meetings specialists in order to optimize each other's activities.

Purpose

The events & meetings intern is responsible for the day-to-day assistance within the groups & meetings team. They play a role in the smooth communication with the hotels and the organizers. Other focuses are on data entry, admin processes, and assisting on projects while working closely with the groups & meetings specialists in order to optimize each other's activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling incoming emails, phone calls, and chats
• Organizing role in preparation for all groups and meetings
• Handle general questions and issues about in-house groups and meetings
• Collect and distribute feedback about the experiences of the guests
• Check, send out, and chase open payments
• Assist with other projects and (administrative) activities
• Create SOP’s
• Do after-sales calls - cross and upsell activities

Qualifications & Skills

• Are studying (international) business, hospitality, tourism, or a related field
• Are a creative, flexible, and fun personality
• Fluent in English, preferably more languages
• Are client-focused and a problem-solver
