At Karl Lagerfeld, the Visual Merchandising Intern supports the day-to-day activities of the Visual Merchandising department across both Full Price and Factory Outlet channels. You will join a dynamic, fast-growing company built on professionalism and strong values, with headquarters in Paris and Amsterdam and an international team from over 35 countries.

Purpose of the role

We are currently looking for a full-time Visual Merchandising Intern for a minimum duration of 6 months who can provide support in day-to-day tasks within the Visual Merchandising department, covering both Full Price and Factory Outlet channels.

Key responsibilities

  • Support the roll out of upcoming projects and independently manage small-scale projects.
  • Provide hands-on support for VM projects, dedicated product launches, showroom set ups and events.
  • Travel as required, depending on restrictions.
  • Update and take ownership of in-store signage to support promotions and sale messaging across the Outlet Channel.
  • Assist with the production and creation of VM tools such as Seasonal VM Guidelines, newsletters, recap documents, training tools and presentations.
  • Support allocation and logistics for existing stores and new store openings, including props and POS.
  • Conduct market research on VM, styling and graphic trends.
  • Provide administrative support and communication for office-related tasks.

Skills, education and experience

  • Bachelor in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design/Buying or Graphic Design, though applicants from other backgrounds with VM experience are also welcome.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge and confidence in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop; Illustrator is a plus.
  • Familiar with MS Office.
