At G-STAR, we are seeking an experienced Amazon Sales Manager to lead and grow our Amazon wholesale business (1P).

Role Overview

This role is responsible for driving revenue, managing marketplace performance, optimizing operations, and ensuring sustainable account growth across Amazon channels.

The ideal candidate combines strong commercial thinking with hands-on Amazon expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional execution. This role will work closely with marketing to align promotions, launches, and overall marketplace strategy. Content management will be supported by an intern, but the Amazon Sales Manager is expected to oversee content quality, prioritization, and execution standards.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon Account Management

  • Own and manage the day-to-day performance of the Amazon Seller/Vendor Central account
  • Drive revenue growth, profitability, and marketplace expansion
  • Monitor account health, policy compliance, and operational performance
  • Manage listings, catalogue structure, pricing, promotions, and inventory coordination

Sales & Commercial Performance

  • Develop and execute Amazon sales strategies aligned with company targets
  • Analyze sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, margins, and category trends
  • Forecast sales and inventory requirements in collaboration with operations/supply chain teams
  • Lead seasonal planning, promotional calendars, and product launch coordination

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with the marketing lead on campaign planning, launches, and promotional activities
  • Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to maintain healthy inventory levels and avoid stock-outs
  • Work with customer service and external partners when account issues arise

Content & Marketplace Optimization

  • Oversee Amazon listing quality including titles, bullets, A+ content, images, and keyword optimization
  • Manage and prioritize the work of the content intern
  • Maintain high standards for brand presentation and marketplace consistency

Reporting & Analysis

  • Build regular performance reports and provide actionable recommendations and present insights and growth plans to leadership
  • Use Amazon and third-party analytics tools to identify opportunities and risks

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master degree with 3+ years of experience managing Amazon account
  • Strong knowledge of Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central
  • Strong analytical and commercial mindset
  • Experience managing promotions, pricing, inventory coordination, and catalogue optimization
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience coordinating junior support staff or freelancers is a plus
  • Comfortable working with AI- and reporting tools is a plus
