Join The Magnum Ice Cream Company

As Cabinet Operations Lead, you will shape the future of OOH operations within the Global Out-of-Home (OOH) Excellence team, a cornerstone of the company’s growth strategy focused on world-class execution across markets.

Job purpose:

The Global Out-of-Home (OOH) Excellence team defines global standards for technology and processes to drive consistency, scalability, and innovation. Acting as a hub for integration and best-practice sharing, it enables operational efficiency through advanced tools and data-driven insights while fostering collaboration between markets and partners. This function empowers local teams to deliver superior customer experiences and positions the company to lead in a rapidly evolving, technology-driven OOH landscape.

The Cabinet Operations Lead participates in standardizing and automating ice-cream cabinet operations using CMS and advanced data analytics. This workstream aims to optimize cabinet placement, reduce maintenance costs, and improve asset utilization. For this purpose, the business has been working on one unified solution for all markets, Project Glide.

Project Glide:

Implementing standardized and automated cabinet management systems streamlines operations and reduces variability. This ensures consistent quality and performance across all regions. Introducing Glide for better control and productivity aims for significant OPEX and CAPEX savings. These systems automate cabinet tracking, maintenance, and performance monitoring, leading to cost reductions and improved asset utilization.

Key responsibilities:

Ownership of Project Glide:

The prime objective is to enable successful landing of iOPs framework/methodology and unlock value creation by simplifying, harmonizing and digitalizing the end-to-end cabinet operations processes with the Project Glide Squad: finalizing and executing Project Glide across the markets.

  • Finalize the development process with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Lead the execution phase, align it with relevant stakeholders and create excitement in markets.
  • Identify pain points and bottlenecks in cabinet operations macro-processes and co-create solutions together with market experts using iOPs methodology.

Driving better cabinet ROIC:

The prime objective is to achieve substantial improvement of cabinet ROIC, a global tool helping to get better returns on investments and cabinet capex.

  • Co-own the global cabinet capex process together with Finance.
  • Make sure the cabinet capex is allocated to markets in a way that drives better ROIC whilst incentivizing them to step up in quality of execution.
  • Land the ROIC approach in markets, helping them to take better decisions on what to buy and where to place cabinets.
  • Help markets pilot and land alternative investment solutions like leasing or cabinet rental models.

Ownership of global cabinet operations agenda:

The prime objective is to set up strategic framework/KPIs and help markets to drive excellence in fleet management.

  • Lead simplification of cabinet portfolio based on 3 pillars: cabinet types, spare parts and suppliers.
  • Craft an agenda for harmonization of cabinet designs to create value in the procurement phase.
  • Harmonize cabinet maintenance processes including de-icing, repair, scrapping and SOP for cold chain operations.
  • Craft future-fit cabinet designs in coordination with R&D and supplier teams.
  • Define, align and embed in markets global cabinet operations benchmarks, buffer cabinets, lost cabinets, early scrap cabinets and end-to-end cabinet operations costs.
  • Maintain and develop a community of experts by creating more best-practice exchange occasions and codifying best practices in playbooks.
  • Own minimum technical requirements for cabinets the company purchases and make sure the requirements enable longer cabinet lifecycle and support the sustainability agenda.

What you need to succeed:

Skills, experiences & qualifications:

  • Strong project management ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines and stakeholders effectively.
  • Process design capability to analyze business needs and design efficient, scalable go-to-market processes.
  • Ability to translate business process needs into clear system requirements for technology teams.
  • Change management capability to guide markets through major transitions and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Analytical thinking to interpret data and use insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills to engage diverse stakeholders and drive alignment without direct authority.
  • Proactive innovation mindset to identify opportunities for process optimization and leverage technology for efficiency.

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Sales Operations, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Proven relevant operational experience in IC CD/SC, ideally in Field Sales and/or Cabinet Operations and Fleet Management areas.
  • Hands-on experience with design of Cabinet Management Systems (CMS) tools, including involvement in system deployment projects.
  • Track record of leading or supporting business transformation initiatives in FMCG or similar industries.
  • Experience framing business questions and defining analytics requirements to ensure reporting solutions support decision-making and process optimization.
  • Experience working across multiple markets or in a global role, with an understanding of diverse operational models.
  • Experience managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and technology partners.

What you can expect:

  • A unique mix of global scale and start-up spirit with an agile, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Career opportunities across 42 markets with international exposure and fast-tracked growth.
  • A performance-driven culture with freedom to act, disrupt and grow, where success is measured by impact.
  • A company that celebrates joy, innovation and purpose.
