Our team in Amsterdam is hiring a Product Manager (Refill+).

REFILL+ is Aquablu's most deployed product. It is installed across hundreds of sites, generating real revenue, and throwing real challenges every week. We need someone to own it completely: roadmap, field performance, hardware evolution, and commercial outcomes.

This isn't a coordination role. You'll be the single accountable owner, making prioritisation calls when firmware stability and roadmap ambitions collide, driving fixes from root cause to shipped, and bridging the gap between what Customer Service hears in the field and what engineering builds next. You'll work shoulder-to-shoulder with a sharp technical team and have direct influence over a product that customers interact with every single day.

If you're a technically fluent PM who's done with playing it safe and wants to leave a visible dent — this is the role for you.

You'll report into the Head of Physical Product and be part of Aquablu's Physical Product team.

“That might sound really ambitious, but our team is part of an inspiring movement in an industry that's thirsty for change.” - Marc, Co-founder of Aquablu

What You'll Own

  • Product roadmap: Balance firmware stability, hardware improvements, and commercial priorities across the full REFILL+ lifecycle
  • Live field issue resolution: Drive root cause to shipped fix in close collaboration with firmware and mechanical engineering
  • Pay-per-drink technical enablement: Own the syrup dispense accuracy track and its commercial dependencies
  • Customer Service & field feedback loop: Translate customer success and field insights into prioritised engineering work
  • Supplier & manufacturer relationships: Manage hardware suppliers and contract manufacturer partnerships
  • Product KPIs: Define and track uptime, dispense accuracy, and error rates
  • Security & compliance: Own firmware certification and EU directive requirements for connected hardware

What You Bring

  • Technical degree in mechatronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 1–3+ years in a hardware product management role, ideally with physical consumer or B2B devices
  • Comfortable reading firmware specs, hardware schematics, and manufacturing documentation
  • Able to navigate the full product lifecycle — design and engineering through production and field deployment
  • Strong prioritisation instincts — able to balance live field issues against long-term roadmap work
  • Familiarity with EU regulatory and compliance requirements for connected hardware products

Nice to have

  • Experience with IoT or connected physical products
  • Background in food & beverage, vending, or water technology
  • Hands-on experience with contract manufacturers, assembly processes, and supply chain management
  • B2B product experience
