Internship opportunity in Customer Development – Category Management

Are you ready to kick-start your career at one of the world’s most iconic companies?

This internship offers the chance to learn, grow, and make an impact within the Customer Strategy & Planning (CS&P) Foods team.

What makes this internship exciting?

Within our Customer Strategy & Planning (CS&P) Foods team, you will play a key role in building category growth strategies for brands like Knorr. This is your opportunity to work with real data, real customers, and real business impact.

As an intern in the CS&P Foods team (Category Management), you will work at the heart of the business where shopper insights, data, and commercial strategy come together.

CS&P is the linking pin between sales, marketing, and supply chain, focused on growing the category together with our retail partners. You will support projects that shape category strategies, drive commercial performance, and help our brands win in-store and online. You will directly contribute to how we grow the category together with our customers by turning data into insights and actions.

This isn’t just about learning – it’s about contributing. Here’s what your journey will look like:

  • Support the team in analyzing category performance using Nielsen, retailer data (e.g. AH/SIS), and internal tools
  • Help build customer presentations and category reviews with actionable insights
  • Contribute to promotion and assortment analyses to improve commercial performance
  • Support shelf plan (planogram) and innovation tracking projects
  • Monitor competitors and market trends to identify opportunities
  • Work on ad-hoc deep dives and business cases that support decision-making

You’re the perfect fit if:

  • You’re available for 5 to 6 months starting August-September 2026 (minimum 32 hours/week).
  • You are enrolled in a Bachelor (3rd or 4th year) or Master program.
  • You excel in project and stakeholder management.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English.
  • You can work with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • You are curious, eager to learn, and independent.
  • You have an interest in commercial strategy.
  • You are a team player with an entrepreneurial mindset.

Why you’ll love working with us?

  • A €625 gross/month allowance.
  • Travel reimbursement (if you don’t have a student travel card).
  • Fun and engaging intern programs – onboarding, events, and activities with fellow interns.
  • Access to extensive training programs for personal and professional growth.
  • A flexible working environment tailored to your success.
  • A behind-the-scenes experience at one of the world’s largest and most innovative FMCG companies.
