The Head of Credit Risk Services oversees the delivery and development of credit risk services across the lending process, with a strong focus on analysis, monitoring, and reporting. The role ensures efficient execution, supports risk-informed credit decisions, and serves as a central interface to Operations and key stakeholders. It further drives the evolution of the team into a scalable, expert function that enhances analytical depth, decision quality, and overall contribution to the credit risk management framework.

What tasks can you expect with us?

  • Lead and transform the Credit Risk Services team, ensuring high-quality execution, reliable service delivery, and a stronger value contribution through the team's risk expertise, analytical capabilities, and operational controls.
  • Oversee operational credit risk services across the retail credit lifecycle and support the management of portfolio-related risk processes.
  • Support risk-relevant credit decisions through credit analysis for, e.g., margin loan clients and structured assessment of client- and portfolio-related risk factors.
  • Perform credit-relevant assessments and monitoring activities, including reviews of client behaviour, portfolio developments, and emerging risk indicators.
  • Investigate and resolve risk incidents, issues, and control gaps proactively.
  • Provide high-quality credit risk services to internal stakeholders, including analytical support, structured case handling, and contributions to risk-relevant credit decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform processes, systems, and controls within Credit Risk Services and unlock additional value through better use of the team's skills.
  • Contribute to the further development of operational procedures, controls, reporting standards, and supporting risk policies.
  • Participate in strategic projects, regulatory initiatives, and implementation measures to strengthen operational risk governance.

What do we want from you?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.
  • Several years of experience in credit risk, banking operations, retail credit risk, or a comparable financial services environment.
  • Leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Track record in transforming teams and operating models, with the ability to broaden the team's remit and create added value through strong risk expertise, analytical depth, and business-relevant decision support.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk processes, credit analysis, risk-relevant decision support, and retail or brokerage-related risk environments.
  • Experience with credit risk reporting, monitoring frameworks, portfolio-related controls, and service delivery in a regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and confidence in interpreting data, preparing risk reports, and drawing sound conclusions for management and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead teams and drive results under pressure.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
