Job Description
Lead the design and continuous improvement of global Demand Planning capabilities across Personal Health, shaping the way demand planners forecast, use tools, follow policies and drive stronger end-to-end business performance.
Your role:
- Lead and improve the global Demand Planning capability framework across Personal Health, defining best-in-class and fit-for-purpose standards across systems, data, process and people embedded within S&OP and S&OE to enable end-to-end planning excellence.
- Partner with a global network of demand planners across five regions, as well as commercial, supply planning and broader planning stakeholders, to improve forecast accuracy, planning maturity and operational performance.
- Define and govern planning policies, forecasting guardrails, best practices, training, community of practice and change adoption, ensuring teams follow the defined standards driving end-to-end planning coherence.
- Play a key role in Philips’ next generation planning transformation, helping improve the use of Blue Yonder, analytics and AI / ML forecasting capabilities to strengthen business performance and future-ready planning.
You're the right fit if:
- Experience: You bring strong experience (min. 8 years) in Demand Planning in a complex international environment, ideally within FMCG or another fast-moving consumer-led business. You have preferably worked hands-on as a demand planner before moving into business process, capability, excellence or transformation roles, and you bring strong end-to-end supply chain understanding.
- Skills: You have strong capability in process design, planning governance, data analysis, change management, stakeholder management, training and business process improvement. You are able to assess forecast performance, identify where issues come from, and translate insights into practical actions. You also understand how AI / ML and digital planning tools can improve forecasting quality and planning maturity. You are skilled in leveraging AI to generate insights, enhance training content, and enable effective change management and adoption at scale.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Analytics or a related field.
- Anything else: You are a senior, credible and globally minded professional who can teach, influence and challenge existing ways of working. You bring an outside-in perspective, strong benchmark awareness, and the ability to guide demand planners globally toward more consistent and effective planning practices. Higher seniority is preferred, though strong profiles with slightly fewer years of experience may also be considered.
