Our users love seeing their savings grow. To keep offering competitive rates while protecting our users' money, bunq needs to understand how changing interest rates and market conditions could impact our business.

As our Stress Testing Analyst Intern, you'll help build the models and scenarios that allow us to prepare for the unexpected. By researching market trends, analyzing data, and developing stress-testing tools, you'll help us make smarter risk decisions and free up capital for growth.

You'll work directly with the Financial Risk team to build the foundation for future AI-driven stress testing and risk management capabilities. 📈

Take ownership:

  • Research macroeconomic trends and market developments that could impact bunq.
  • Analyze and manipulate financial data to support stress-testing activities.
  • Support the development of a Value-at-Risk (VaR) stress-testing framework for interest rate and credit spread risk.
  • Assist in designing bunq-specific stress scenarios to improve risk management and capital efficiency.
  • Work closely with the Financial Risk team to translate analysis into actionable insights for decision-making.
  • Help build the knowledge base and foundations for future AI-driven stress testing solutions.
