Picnic Behind the Hires

Ever wondered what it’s like to hire, shape, and grow the teams behind Europe’s fastest-scaling online supermarket? 🥑📦✨

At Picnic, recruitment isn’t about filling vacancies, it’s about building the teams that drive growth, innovation, and expansion across Europe. From hiring Category Managers and Software Engineers to supporting launches in entirely new markets, recruiters play a key role in shaping the future of the business.

Now, we’re inviting you inside.

Join us on September 3rd at Picnic HQ in Amsterdam for an exclusive early-career recruitment event designed for ambitious, curious talent eager to explore what a career in talent acquisition at Picnic could look like.

This isn’t your typical company presentation. Through interactive discussions, collaborative challenges, and conversations with our TA team, you'll get a firsthand look at how we approach hiring at scale—and the impact recruiters have from day one.

If you’re people-driven, commercially minded, and energized by solving real business challenges, this is your opportunity to experience recruitment at Picnic up close.

Recruiters at Picnic are more than talent finders—they’re strategic partners, problem solvers, and growth enablers.

From day one, recruiters take ownership of hiring processes, partner closely with stakeholders across the business, and help shape the teams that power our continued growth.

During this event, you’ll meet the people behind our hiring success, learn how we combine data, creativity, and business thinking, and experience some of the real challenges our recruiters tackle every day.

What's on the agenda?

17:00 – Doors open, welcome drinks & check-in
17:30 – Opening talk: Recruitment at Picnic
18:00 – Interactive round-table discussions with our recruiters
19:00 – Mini recruitment case challenge
19:45 – Networking drinks & food

Why join?

  • Gain an insider view of recruitment in a fast-scaling international scale-up
  • Explore how Picnic recruiters combine ownership, data, and creativity to solve hiring challenges
  • Collaborate with recruiters and fellow attendees through interactive sessions
  • Put your problem-solving skills to the test during a real-world recruitment challenge
  • Experience the culture, energy, and people that make Picnic a unique place to work

Is this event for you?

You’re a great fit if:

  • You hold (or recently completed) a BSc or MSc in Psychology, Business, HR, or a related field
  • You have 0–2 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, HR, or a people-focused environment
  • You’re curious about working in a fast-paced scale-up and eager to learn
