As a Global Design Intern within Brand & Identity, you will become part of the team behind some of the world’s most iconic brands. You will support the development of next-generation brand identity systems and design tools that help bring HEINEKEN’s brands to life consistently across markets and touchpoints. This internship offers a unique opportunity to learn how global brands are built, managed, and scaled—while contributing to future-focused ways of working, including AI-enabled design and content creation.

The internship

What you will do:

  • Support the development of future-facing brand identity and design guidelines that help our global brands show up consistently, powerfully, and distinctively across markets.
  • Contribute to projects that combine creativity, structure, and innovation—from design systems and AI-enabled guideline creation to training materials and content that support global roll-out.
  • Collaborate with designers and brand stakeholders across functions and geographies, gaining hands-on experience in how design excellence is shaped, reviewed, and activated within a global business.

Your new team and workplace

You will join HEINEKEN’s Global Design team in Amsterdam, where we shape and evolve brand identities for our global portfolio. The team works on creating clear, inspiring, and scalable design systems that help brands stay consistent across markets and channels. It’s a collaborative, international environment where creativity, structure, and innovation come together, making it a great place to learn how iconic brands are built and activated globally.

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

The unique you!

We’re looking for a curious and proactive student with a passion for branding and design. You do not need to have extensive experience, most importantly, you are eager to learn, enjoy working in a team, and have an eye for detail and quality.

We believe everyone has unique talents, which is why we’re looking for you! Energy, drive and the ambition to grow are what make the difference at HEINEKEN. In addition, you bring:

  • You’re currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Graphic Design, Branding, Brand Management, or a related field, and can remain enrolled throughout the internship.
  • You have a strong interest in brand identity, design systems, and how technology—including AI-enabled tools—can support creative work.
  • You are organized, collaborative, and have a keen eye for detail; experience with design workflows or creative tools is a plus, but not required.

Even if you feel you don’t meet all the criteria, we encourage you to apply. An internship is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow!
