With increasing complexity, integrations, and business-critical automations, we are looking for a Senior Dynamics 365 CE Developer who will take end-to-end ownership for CE development, DevOps, and governance.

About Tech & Data
The Tech & Data department serves as the development hub for IBFD and is also responsible for infrastructure and service management. The department comprises approximately 35 employees and external developers responsible for development of the Tax Research Platform, publication workflows, web shop, and online learning modules. The department also supports the development of the Dynamics platform that serves within IBFD as the complete customer fulfilment cycle, starting from an online sales activity to the actual invoice being sent. The development team works in close collaboration with the Infrastructure & Service Management team, which is responsible for IBFD’s infrastructure and cloud services.
What will you do?
- Business Logic & Automation Quality – Design, build, and maintain Power Automate flows and processes. Apply clear patterns for triggering, error handling, retries, logging, and dependency management. Continuously improve and simplify existing automations.
- Realign & Deliver – Improve the landscape and implement best practices. Offer logical choices in what belongs in the Dataverse versus CE plugins versus Power Automate versus F&O versus middleware. Above all, together with the team you will execute the improvement.
- CE Custom Development – Design and build high-quality CE customizations such as plugins, scripts, and integrations. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Platform Stability & Technical Leadership – Act as the senior technical owner for CE and Power Platform. Monitor production health, performance, and incident resolution. Reduce technical debt and enforce best practice engineering standards.
- Dual-Write & Cross-Application Integrations – Maintain and optimize dual-write between CE and F&O. Troubleshoot data synchronization issues and integration failures. Collaborate with F&O teams to ensure end-to-end process continuity.
- Power Platform Governance – Oversee Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dataverse usage. Implement governance for environments, security, service accounts, and naming conventions. Prevent proliferation of unmanaged apps and flows and ensure compliance with Microsoft standards.
- Mentorship – Coach and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles. Guide junior developers and collaborate with functional consultants. Reduce dependency on external consultants by building strong internal capability.
- DevOps & Release Management – Manage Azure DevOps pipelines for CE (build, deploy, branching). Ensure controlled, reliable, and well-documented deployments.
- Boost Innovation – Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively suggest improvements to development processes, tools, and the technology landscape.
What you bring
- 5+ years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 CE / CRM with a proven track record in making your landscape work and improving it in an iterative manner.
- Proven experience designing complex Power Automate solutions with proper triggering strategies, error handling, performance considerations, and lifecycle management.
- Deep knowledge of Dataverse, CE tables, forms, and business rules.
- Strong experience with C# plugin development (.NET), JavaScript (client-side scripting), custom API integrations, Power Automate and Power Apps, Azure DevOps pipelines for CE, dual write, and integration patterns.
- Knowledge of security role design, service accounts, and identity governance.
- Experience taking production ownership, making decisions during incidents, and being accountable for fixes and prevention.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset.
- Ability to translate technical complexity into clear communication.
- Experience with integration patterns: async messaging, idempotency, retries, correlation IDs, and monitoring.
- Experience with F&O integration options, knowing when to use and when not to use dual write integration options.
- Proactive, structured, and governance-oriented.
- Experience with YAML pipelines and CI/CD automation.
- Experience in enterprise environments with multiple systems and environments.
