As Medical Education Program Manager for Stryker’s Acute Care, Sage & SmartCare businesses in EMEA, you will manage the strategy, planning and execution of Healthcare Professionals’ (HCPs) educational programs. This includes symposia, course trainings, product trainings, workshops, reference sites, and more, in partnership with stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing and cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include curriculum development and event management, supporting both in-person and online learning. The role also includes identifying, developing, engaging and partnering with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support high-quality medical education initiatives.

The Job’s Mission:

What you will do:

  • Start with a familiarization phase with product and clinical trainings to learn about the portfolio and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Understand the market positioning and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and support strategy and vision from short to long term, including the annual medical education plan aligned with customer needs and business goals.
  • Lead curriculum and program development, and create and deliver educational content and materials using HCP input.
  • Define plans, monitor budget and prioritize investments.
  • Develop and deliver educational content in various formats including in-person, virtual and on-demand, with an understanding of different communication channel strategies and associated impacts.
  • Lead the project management of medical education programs and collaborate closely with Medical Education, Sales Education, Events, Marketing, Sales, Finance and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate technical expertise to facilitate HCP training programs when needed, including through KOLs, clinical colleagues, subject matter experts and others.
  • Take a hands-on approach in the execution of events and programs.
  • Develop and execute a strong KOL engagement and development program.
  • Support and implement new Medical Education branding to drive excellence in the industry.
  • Anticipate the development of new Medical Education platforms and analyze needs and priorities based on business needs and budget allocation.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs to enable improvements.
  • Mentor and influence across the business to execute the education strategy and programs.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and clinical advancements to strengthen the Medical Education offering.

What you need:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 8+ years of work experience, including Sales/Marketing experience and/or experience developing and executing Medical Education strategy and programs within MedTech, BioTech, Pharmaceuticals or related industries.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately and effectively manage projects and initiatives across different countries to ensure timely outcomes.
  • Demonstrated ability to think both strategically and tactically, with adaptability, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand needs and partner with stakeholders from different markets and cultures.
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies.
  • Impeccable work ethic and integrity in managing confidential information.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Flexibility to travel internationally up to 40%.

Preferred:

  • Clinical experience as a healthcare professional, such as nurse or paramedic.
  • MBA.
