Within the MR Co-Creation team, part of the larger Clinical Science and Co-Creation organization within MR R&D, you will lead end-to-end co-creation programs with clinical and research partners. In this role, you will translate unmet clinical, system, and workflow needs into validated innovation concepts and actionable R&D initiatives that contribute to future MR product and workflow innovations.
You will operate at the intersection of clinical practice, research, R&D, and business, ensuring co-creation programs deliver meaningful outcomes while balancing scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations.
In addition, this role includes interim functional leadership of the MR R&D Co-Creation Team (approximately 10 permanent and 12 flexible FTEs) through Q1 2027.
Your Role
As Program Manager MR Co-Creation, you will:
- Lead end-to-end co-creation programs with hospitals, research institutions, and clinical partners, ensuring successful delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, and resources.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with clinical partners, Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and research collaborators to identify and prioritize innovation opportunities.
- Translate clinical, customer, and workflow insights into validated concepts, prototypes, and actionable R&D inputs that support future product development.
- Drive collaboration across R&D, Product Management, Clinical Science, Regulatory, and Quality teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
- Establish effective program governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication across multiple initiatives.
- Monitor program performance and proactively address risks, dependencies, and execution challenges to achieve desired outcomes.
- Ensure co-creation outputs are successfully integrated into R&D roadmaps and innovation pipelines.
- Provide interim functional leadership to the MR R&D Co-Creation Team, supporting capability development, team engagement, resource planning, and operational excellence.
You're the Right Fit If
- You hold a Master's or PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, Radiology, or a related field.
- You bring 5+ years of experience in MR clinical research, R&D, product development, or program/project management within healthcare or MedTech environments.
- You have a strong understanding of MR imaging technologies, clinical research methodologies, and the healthcare innovation landscape.
- You have experience managing complex cross-functional programs and collaborating with external clinical and research partners.
- You are skilled at stakeholder management and can effectively influence and align diverse groups within a matrix organization.
- You combine strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- You are comfortable working in dynamic environments where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are key.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, Lean Six Sigma, PMP certification, or published MR research is considered an advantage.
