Medior Software Engineer

As an experienced Python engineer, you’ll step out of the proof-of-concept loop and build end-to-end, scalable (Gen)AI solutions that go straight into production for major clients.

The impact you make

• Design and build end-to-end AI solutions
• Architect the "To-Be" state, making strategic decisions on whether to leverage existing AI tooling or build custom solutions.
• Take systems from idea to production deployment
• Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability, observability and performance.
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions
• Work with Python, GenAI, and cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Build scalable systems using MLOps and CI/CD
• Lend your technical expertise to client conversations to successfully start new opportunities

Time allocation: 70% client project work + 30% research, internal (domain) work and more. Note that ML6 is not an outsourcing firm; our agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

Why you

• 2+ years of working experience as a software engineer
• Proficient in Python
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions into production
• Healthy curiosity about GenAI (currently hiring for this domain)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong communication skills (technical and non-technical) in English. Proficiency in one of our local languages is a bonus (Dutch or German).
• Experience in usage of agentic coding tools to deliver robust and scalable systems
• Currently based in Europe, since relocation outside of Europe is not possible for this role today
• Bachelor or Masters Degree in computer science or related field
