Enable secure and compliant access for over 48,000 colleagues by defining and governing bank-wide Identity and Access Management policy requirements.

You & your role

Identity & Access Management (IAM) is crucial for ensuring that every employee and machine has the right access, at the right time, for the right reason. As IAM Expert, you’re part of the Chapter IAM and you translate deep IAM expertise into clear policy requirements and guidance that can be consistently applied across the organization. You create clear communication materials derived from IAM policy requirements to drive awareness, understanding, and adoption among stakeholders.

You work closely with architecture, Areas within Tribe IAM and other relevant stakeholders throughout the organization. With practical examples from complex IAM cases and projects, you help teams make well-informed decisions that balance security, compliance and usability.

Examples from practice

  • Defining new IAM policy requirements after changes in regulatory demands.
  • Providing IAM expertise to initiatives and projects on access modelling, rollout criteria and acceptance standards.

Top 3 responsibilities

  • Define, maintain and own IAM policy documents and policy requirements and act as the authoritative reference across the organization.
  • Provide subject-matter expert input to initiatives and projects, collaborate with architecture and process stakeholders, and develop high-level communication materials to drive awareness, understanding and adoption of IAM requirements.
  • Monitor market and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable IAM guidance.

You translate complex IAM topics into reusable guidance, support decision-making in complex situations and contribute to consistent IAM practices across domains.

Together we achieve more than alone

“In Chapter IAM, your expertise directly impacts how the bank works—by setting clear standards, supporting domains and raising bank-wide awareness of sound IAM practices. This is where knowledge turns into real, measurable impact.” Myrna Vonk, Chapter Lead IAM.

The Chapter IAM is responsible for bringing together IAM expertise with team members focusing on policy requirements, process and implementation management and domain consultancy. Collaboration is key and we work as an expert and practice-oriented team within Rabobank.

  • EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.
  • A balance between home and office work (possible for most roles).
  • Decide for yourself the amount of your personal contribution to your pension.

The position can be classified in scale 9 or 10, depending on your knowledge, relevant work experience and demonstrated skills.

You & your talent

  • Academic work and thinking level with 5 to 15 years of experience in Identity and Access Management.
