Are you ready to be a part of the exciting changes happening in ABN AMRO's Corporate Credit Landscape?

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about learning and developing their skills while designing future-proof end-to-end lending processes within Financing Solutions. ABN AMRO is committed to enriching and renewing the lending landscape by simplifying and accelerating processes to better identify customer risks and serve them transparently. As part of the Credits Capability Grid department, you will help digitize customer data and build a new central credit platform by identifying business needs and translating them to the IT department.

If you are ready to contribute to the credit landscape of the future and be a part of our mission to serve our customers better, then we want you on our team. Join us in building a brighter future for lending.

At a glance

We are looking for a Business Consultant / Analyst to design and continuously improve our new digital end-to-end lending processes. In this position, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the future of lending. You will be working for the Collateral Management Lifecycle team within Corporate Banking, responsible for a new digital end-to-end customer journey. Your role will involve driving requirement gathering from end-users and specialist teams, such as Lenders, Credit Risk, Contracting, Operations and Regulatory, and turning these into technical designs for our Salesforce credit origination platform. Balancing regulatory requirements with practical, day-to-day operational feasibility is key to ensuring compliant yet workable solutions for end-users. As the bridge between end-users and our developers, you will learn the end-to-end journey of corporate credits and the daily tasks of our end-users.

To excel in this role, you need to be creative, strong in stakeholder management, organized, empathetic towards users, eager to take on challenges, and motivated to learn about our software and processes.

Your job

Examples of day-to-day tasks include:

  • Analysing services, business processes, information flows, user and system requirements to identify opportunities.
  • Translating product roadmap features into concrete user stories by identifying and prioritizing technical and functional requirements.
  • Creating system and/or data model designs and translating them into clear documentation to develop a shared understanding of the topic and improve organizational learning.
  • Supporting implementation, helping the development team deliver quality by collaborating on test design and user acceptance tests.

Working environment

You will join a devops team within the Collateral Management Lifecycle shop and work closely with colleagues from other streams, such as Integrations, Business Implementation, Regulatory, and subject matter experts from departments such as Lending, Risk and FR&R. Collaboration is key to success, and the team aims to provide a supportive workplace culture. A healthy work-life balance is valued, with an expectation of being in the office 2 to 3 days a week.

Your profile

You are passionate about devops, driven to learn and grow, and eager to contribute to shaping the future of lending. You enjoy working collaboratively, solving complex challenges, and bringing structure to problems. You take ownership and can translate requirements into Salesforce functionalities in collaboration with IT teams. You are a connector who builds bridges and brings others together. We welcome candidates from different backgrounds and experiences, including those without professional banking experience, provided they are eager to learn and bring a positive attitude. Training and support will be provided to help you excel in the role.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in any field
  • Ability to identify solution options and present advice to stakeholders in a convincing and structured manner
  • Experience in business analysis, stakeholder management and system/process design
  • Strong affinity with technology, data structures, and querying
  • Knowledge of nCino system or Salesforce delivery is a plus, but willingness to learn is necessary
  • Self-starter with a critical look and positive attitude
  • You are in the possession of a Dutch working permit and/or living in the Netherlands.

We are offering

We want you to help further shape lending and enable entrepreneurs to make an impact in society. We value your experience and personal perspective on our challenges. You will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with room for growth within and beyond your area of expertise, depending on your ambitions and drive.

In addition, we offer:

  • An attractive gross monthly salary based on a 36 hour work week, including holiday allowance and a flexible benefit budget. A 40 hour work week is also possible.
  • An excellent pension scheme.
  • Flexibility in working: working from home is possible in consultation with your team and depending on your role. We will provide an ergonomic home office setup for you.
  • Plenty of room for relaxation with five weeks of vacation per year, supplemented by two mandatory days off. You can also purchase up to four additional weeks of vacation annually.
  • Five “Banking for better days”: extra days off that you can use for personal development or volunteer work.
  • Personal development is key: you receive a development budget of €1,000 per year, which can accumulate up to €3,000.
  • An annual public transport pass with free public transportation throughout the Netherlands for both business and private use.
