Your job

The department Control & Fee Analytics Europe (CFA) is responsible for reporting, controlling and analyzing Clearing Europe’s financial income and expenses. The assignment consists of ensuring the quality of financial reporting and control by overseeing the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records. By understanding Clearing Europe financial processes and their financial consequences, you will help report Clearing’s financials. Additionally, you will assist the team in streamlining and automating the fee invoicing system.

Your activities will include but not be limited to:

• Process revenues and make sure fee invoices are entered correctly into the system according to internal guidelines.
• Ensure proper and timely automatic and manual journal entries are made.
• Make proposals for modifications of processes in line with internal guidelines.
• Support the team to ensure a complete and accurate general ledger according to internal accounting guidelines.

Your profile

• You are in the last year of your Bachelor or Master studies (WO or HBO).
• Your study covers Finance, Accounting, or other related fields.
• Preferably, you have affinity with programming (Python and/or VBA).
• You have affinity with financial accounting, control or reporting, custody and clearing.
• You are enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.
• You can start in July or August and are available for a minimum of 6 to 9 months.
