At Nedap in healthcare, we develop software that helps healthcare organizations work smarter, more efficiently, and future-proof their operations. But new functionalities only create real value when users understand, trust, and successfully adopt them in their daily work.

As a Communication Specialist, you support the daily communication processes within our team. You coordinate communication around product developments, software releases, projects, and incidents. Together with colleagues from product development, support, marketing, customer experience, privacy, and account management, you help ensure that healthcare organizations are always well informed about developments within Nedap in healthcare, what we stand for, and how we create impact for our customers.

This role gives you the opportunity to contribute to how communication is organized within a modern SaaS environment. You will work at the intersection of communication, software, adoption, and process improvement, with plenty of room to learn, take initiative, and help make communication smarter, more scalable, and more relevant.

"What makes this role so enjoyable is the combination of freedom and challenge. You work with different teams, contribute to a wide variety of projects, and see the impact of your work firsthand. That makes the role dynamic and incredibly rewarding."

Evelien, Communications Specialist

What are you going to do?

Communication

  • Translate product developments, releases, and software changes into clear and meaningful communication for healthcare organizations.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with teams across product development, support, marketing, and customer experience.

Adoption

  • Help improve the adoption and understanding of new functionalities within our software.

Optimization

  • Contribute to smarter, more scalable, and more efficient communication processes.

Innovation

  • Explore how automation and AI tools can strengthen communication and customer impact.

Growth

  • Take initiative, learn continuously, and help shape communication within a modern SaaS environment.

Your team

As a Communication Specialist you work for the communication team within Nedap in healthcare. We work closely together and are involved in all communication surrounding our software solutions. We regularly collaborate with developers, support colleagues, marketers, account managers, and product owners to stay closely connected to customer needs and the impact of product developments.

Although Dutch is the main language within our team due to our focus on Dutch healthcare organizations, English is also frequently spoken internally because of the international character of Nedap.

We value short lines of communication, collaboration, and a strong team atmosphere. That is why we are often present at our green campus in Groenlo. We support each other, work closely together, and regularly make time for team activities and outings.

"Because we collaborate closely and spend time together in the office on a regular basis, we can move quickly and easily support one another. At the same time, we are continuously looking for ways to improve how we communicate with our customers."

Gülsen, Communications Specialist

What's in it for you?

As a Communication Specialist at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives.

In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.

At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.

Required skills

As a Communication Specialist you are curious, communicative, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where technology and people come together. You know how to translate complex information into clear communication, work proactively across teams, and continuously look for smarter and more effective ways of working. With a positive-critical mindset and attention to detail, you contribute to communication that truly helps customers move forward.

You recognize yourself in the following:

  • A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO level) and excellent command of the Dutch language.
  • Affinity with software, SaaS environments, digital processes, and communication that supports product adoption and customer experience.
  • Comfortable working with tools such as HubSpot and quick to learn new systems, automation, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
  • A proactive, social, and collaborative mindset, combined with strong communication skills and an interest in improving processes.

Hybrid working is common at Nedap, and together with your team, you determine your own working hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Given the responsibilities of the role, you are preferably present on our campus in Groenlo at least three days per week.
