What are you going to do?

As a Data Analyst, you will work on delivering relevant and reliable data insights into user behavior, enabling all development teams within the Ons Suite to make better product decisions. You will be part of the Product Analytics team, where you will work on both shared team projects and projects within a specific product Tribe. Each Tribe focuses on a different domain, such as Back Office, Client Records, Logistics, or Integrations.

Within your Tribe, you will be the go-to person for data-related questions and collaborate closely with the Tribe Lead, Product Owners, and UX designers. As a data analyst, you will focus on a specific domain within the Ons software suite and develop in-depth knowledge of its products, user types, and data.

Your responsibilities

Data-informed culture

Promoting a data-informed culture within the organization.

Sharing insights

Sharing insights with development teams, providing advice, and discussing what data insights mean for product development. You independently identify opportunities and challenges where data insights can add value.

Prioritize

Prioritizing data-related questions within your Tribe(s).

Research Plans

Creating research plans to evaluate the impact and adoption of new features.

Develop and maintain Data Pipelines

Managing the complete process from ad hoc data analysis in Jupyter Notebooks, to building DAGs on the data platform, and developing the corresponding dashboard, for example in Power BI.

Your team

As a Data Analyst, you will become part of the Product Analytics team, consisting of data analysts and data engineers. Together, you work on the data platform and collaborate whenever needed. The data engineers in the team build and maintain the platform using Python ELT scripts in Airflow and a data lake. As a Data Analyst, you perform ad hoc data analyses using Jupyter Notebooks and use the platform to build data pipelines that serve as the foundation for your Power BI dashboards.

In addition to the Product Analytics team, there are various data science teams within the Healthcare market group and various data analytics teams within Nedap. With the latter, we exchange experiences regarding data platforms, and these colleagues are available for specific questions regarding data, data analysis, and data engineering.

The team is a close-knit group that regularly collaborates and shares knowledge, but also enjoys catching up by the coffee machine to gather new data on the non-work-related aspects of life.

What's in it for you?

As a Data Analyst at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives.

In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder.

At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.

Required skills

As a Data Analyst, you work with many different stakeholders, which makes strong communication and stakeholder management skills essential. Since you work independently on your own projects and questions, excellent project and time management skills are also important. You will largely determine which requests receive priority and at what quality level they should be executed. To effectively communicate your findings, we also expect strong data storytelling skills.

In addition, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • Strong technical skills in Python, with a focus on data analysis and data visualization, including Jupyter Notebooks and pandas.
  • Experience with Power BI or a similar dashboarding tool.
  • Nice to have: experience with Airflow.
  • Affinity with product development, product management, and UX, and an interest in unlocking new data and source systems.
  • Nice to have: affinity with healthcare.
  • Language proficiency: fluent in Dutch and English.

Good to know: Hybrid remote working is common at Nedap, and together with your team, you determine your own working hours to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Given the responsibilities of the role, you are preferably present on our campus in Groenlo at least two days per week.
