Your Role at a Glance

As the new Hotel Director of NH Amsterdam Noord, you lead the hotel’s operational and commercial strategy, ensuring budgets are well managed and objectives are achieved. Through your management team, you implement and maintain hotel standards, procedures, and compliance across all departments. You are responsible for the overall performance of the hotel, providing regular reporting to key stakeholders and owners. With a supportive and hands-on leadership style, you empower your teams to deliver consistently high levels of quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. In this role, you report directly to the Regional Director of Operations.

• You have at least 5 years of experience as a Hotel Director.
• You are a hands-on leader who leads through the management team and inspires employees across all departments.
• You have a strong commercial and financial mindset, with proven experience managing budgets, revenue, costs, and overall results.
• You are solution-driven and confident in making decisions, even in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• You know how to balance excellent guest experience, strong operational performance, and team development.
• You coach and develop your people, creating a safe, inclusive, and motivated work culture.
• You act with integrity and ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• You communicate clearly and combine operational focus with long-term strategic thinking.
• You are fluent in English; Dutch and additional languages are an advantage.
