At Demcon production, you’ll work on the development of complex mechatronic systems that make an impact worldwide - from prototype to mass production.

As purchasing manager, you’ll play a key role in this: you’ll lead a professional team of project and category buyers and translate business objectives into a reliable and scalable supply chain. You combine vision with decisiveness and know how to perfectly align suppliers, technology, and business needs. In this role, you have a direct impact on costs, quality, and continuity, and you ensure that products are successfully and scalably brought to production.

In addition, your team is responsible for procurement for the other companies within the manufacturing & assembly cluster, namely Demcon metal injection moulding and Bond3D - companies with their own distinctive production technologies and markets.

What are you going to do?

As Purchasing Manager, you are responsible for designing and executing the entire procurement cycle. From sourcing through to operational execution and ordering.

• You lead a team of project buyers and category buyers and help them improve every day;
• You ensure that the right parts are available on time, so that projects and production never come to a standstill;
• You maintain an overview of complex supply chains and actively manage delivery reliability, quality, and costs;
• You ensure that new products (NPI) flow smoothly into series production, without any surprises in the supply chain;
• You make smart choices regarding suppliers and contracts and ensure that agreements are actually honored;
• You continuously improve processes so that everything runs more efficiently and predictably.
