We are looking for an exceptional Raw Materials Buyer to join our team. In this role, you will partner with internal teams and suppliers to ensure reliable sourcing of raw materials while supporting business needs and delivering value through effective purchasing decisions.

The Role

As our Raw Materials Buyer, you play a critical role in analyzing internal needs, securing supply solutions, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring alignment between purchasing activities and business requirements. You will be reporting to the Global Category Senior Manager - Raw Materials, and you will manage:

Stakeholder & cross-functional collaboration

  • Collaborate with planning, product development, quality, and manufacturing teams.
  • Act as focal point for Purchasing with internal teams.
  • Align internal requirements with supply solutions.
  • Support coordination across functions to meet supply demand.

Supplier management & negotiation

  • Prospect, evaluate, qualify, and certify suppliers.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with strategic suppliers.
  • Conduct price, payment term, delivery condition, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate to improve payment terms with suppliers.

Strategic purchasing & value delivery

  • Prepare budgets and quarterly reviews based on market information and analysis.
  • Monitor market trends for commodities and inputs.
  • Define short-, medium-, and long-term plans for managed categories.
  • Lead cost and lead time reduction projects.
  • Manage purchasing processes, contracts, and KPI reporting.

  • Previous experience in purchasing, preferably in industrial, cosmetic, or related sector.
  • Knowledge of raw materials used in the cosmetic industry and quality requirements.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical capacity and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to make decisions and manage unforeseen events.
  • Familiarity with purchasing systems (ERP, purchasing tools).
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Commitment to sustainability and socio-environmental responsibility.
