As Business Capability Lead – Idea to Market, the Business Capability Expert [I2M Domain] is responsible for evaluating and improving business processes to identify opportunities for enhancement, leading to improved business outcomes for the domain. The role works with limited supervision, contributes to the development of strategic plans and business cases, helps shape organizational policies, and conducts workshops to foster cross-departmental collaboration. You will develop comprehensive roadmaps for business capabilities, ensure operational compliance and productivity, engage with Central Functions and Local Process Owners, and align capability improvements with organizational goals. The role also analyzes emerging technologies and industry trends for potential integration, drives effective communication strategies, reviews lessons learned to guide future enhancements, and nurtures organizational competencies while coaching diverse talent to support overall success.

Job Responsibilities

  • Evaluate business processes to uncover and articulate opportunities for enhancing business capabilities, leading to the development of detailed business cases and strategic plans for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development, modification, and execution of organizational policies, impacting immediate operations and potentially affecting the broader organization.
  • Organize workshops and cross-functional meetings to ensure comprehensive understanding and collaboration between different departments during the implementation of new capabilities.
  • Develop a thorough roadmap for end-to-end business capabilities, ensuring compliance with operational standards while optimizing value delivery and productivity to drive profitable growth.
  • Engage with Central Functions, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and Local Process Owners/Experts to collect requirements for business capability improvements, ensuring enhancements align with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Analyze emerging technologies and industry trends that could influence business capabilities, evaluating potential for integration into existing systems to foster innovation and enhance efficiency.
  • Drive comprehensive communication strategies to effectively update stakeholders on new capabilities, changes, and enhancements, ensuring clear understanding and alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Review detailed records of lessons learned from projects to guide future enhancements of business capabilities, ensuring insights are leveraged to improve practices and prevent the recurrence of previous issues.
  • Foster the development of organizational competencies, ensuring required expertise and skills are cultivated and aligned with the effective execution of business capabilities, supporting overall organizational success.
  • Coach a group of diverse talent to develop their skills and ensure achievement of individual and team goals.

You're the right fit if you have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Bachelor's OR Minimum 3 years of experience with Master's. Certifications in areas such as Project Management, Change Management, Risk Management or equivalent would be an added value.
  • Expertise in I2M domain and digital capabilities, including familiarity with I2M Technology/Tooling/AI capabilities landscape [ALM, PLM and MBSE], I2M processes and capability enablement for processes, and innovation enablement via digital channels.
  • Experience in leading / orchestrating business process design / transformation projects and/or IT capability enablement projects.
  • Strong business acumen with proven experience in operational and process management, including KPI monitoring, data management and regulatory compliance.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement, continuous improvement initiatives and benchmarking.
  • Capable of driving process enhancements and managing training delivery to support organizational development.
