In the Digital Data Science and Digital Analytics teams, we create fact-based insights through a holistic, integrated, and actionable storytelling approach across relevant digital marketing initiatives to help improve and shape future digital publishing and media plans, tactics, content strategies and brand narratives.
Digital Data Science
The Digital Data Science team at adidas focuses on forecasting and pricing solutions by leveraging advanced machine learning models to support buying, planning, and trading decisions. They provide forecasting and price recommendations during key commercial events like Black Friday and seasonal sales periods, with solutions live across the globe.
In parallel, the team is actively evolving toward agentic AI-powered decision support, building AI trading agents. This includes exposing pricing and forecasting capabilities through intelligent agents, orchestrating model workflows via natural-language interactions, and embedding governed business context to ensure reliable, explainable outputs.
Operating in an Agile setup, the team collaborates closely with data engineers, ML operations engineers, solution architects, and business teams to experiment with new AI-native workflows, improve model performance, and translate complex data science solutions into intuitive, self-service tools for markets.
Digital Analytics
The Digital Analytics team at adidas is responsible for delivering cutting-edge analytics services to internal stakeholders, enabling them to make fact-based decisions. The team manages the generation of insights that help adidas understand consumer behavior and performance-related analytics to ultimately help drive sales.
Digital Partner Analytics
The Digital Partner team collaborates with various Partner and Wholesale teams to capture reporting requirements and support the Analytics team in implementing these. The team also supports enhancement of the backend structure of performance dashboards and proactively seeks new reporting opportunities to provide additional performance insights.
