As our new Learning Design Intern, you’ll help create impactful learning experiences that empower our diverse, international community of team members. Whether it’s designing a sleek e-learning module, co-writing an onboarding guide or a training script, developing hand-outs or toolkits, or helping organize a photo and film shoot for a new training – this internship is your chance to put creativity into action.

You’ll work within the TSH Academy (Learning & Development team) and will work closely with the wider People & Culture department to shape the learning experiences of our team members across our 21 locations. You’ll also support in bringing new onboarding journeys to life and support our product owners in the creation of digital learnings on our Learning Management System (Sana), all while exploring new formats to make learning fun, inclusive, and unforgettable. Expect to bring your ideas to life and make a real impact on how we help our people grow across Europe.

This internship is perfect for someone who’s curious, creative, and excited about learning, design, and storytelling. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. You will join the team at our headquarters in Amsterdam for a period of 5-6 months, starting September 2026.

About the company

Known for being rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer, we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in designing learning content for digital platforms, videos, print tools, and more
  • Support the creation and launch of new in-person and digital onboarding and training programs and content
  • Help with practical tasks like managing users, pulling reports, and coordinating with stakeholders
  • Write clear, engaging copy for training materials, decks, and workshops
  • Provide design support for e-learnings and internal learning campaigns
  • Join creative brainstorming sessions as part of our design and development of learning content
  • Research trends, tools, and ideas to keep our learning experiences fresh
  • Take ownership of your own projects and run with them (with our support!)
  • Collaborate with various product owners across the business to craft digital learning experiences in the Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Work closely with the L&D intern to ensure a smooth transition between design, coordination and delivery of learning programs

Who You Are

  • You’re currently studying Psychology, Human-Centered Design, Communications, Education, or something related
  • You’ve got a creative eye and love telling stories – visually and in writing
  • You’re proactive, organized, and not afraid to try new things
  • Bonus points if you’ve used tools like Canva, Articulate, or Photoshop before
  • You're curious about how people learn and passionate about making a positive impact
  • You speak and write fluent English (other languages are a plus, but not required)
  • You will be enrolled at the EU university or school for the entire duration of the internship
  • You’re flexible to come to the office in Amsterdam 2-3 times per week

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
