Join Ecolab as a Senior Microbiologist Study Coordinator (m/f/d).

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist the European Research Development and Engineering (RD&E) and Regulatory Affairs (RA) Biocide teams with testing and record management of Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR) EU 528/2012 dossier-related microbiological and APCP data.
  • Assist with dossier preparation efficacy and APCP segments to ensure accurate entry and on-time delivery.
  • Participate in Ecolab’s cross-divisional coordination efforts.
  • Create test schedule in collaboration with RD&E Microbiologists and RA Dossier Managers.
  • Coordinate and communicate full testing from start to finish: quotation generation, sample coordination, testing refinement and completion, draft report issuance and report finalization.
  • Work with internal Ecolab IT systems to document and archive testing activities.
  • Maintain test budget planning and Purchase Order (PO) creation for applicable projects and report to management.

Your Profile

  • Qualified Microbiologist or Chemist
  • Efficacy and APCP testing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of European norms and American Water efficacy standards preferred
  • Ideally understand Water Treatment product applications
  • Ideally suited to work within an international operating company and comfortable working in a virtual team
  • Good problem-solving and organizational skills, conscientious and detail-oriented, proactive with an ability to communicate and cooperate independently to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fluent English (C1 level) with good written and verbal communication skills (other European language proficiency a bonus)
  • Ability to motivate others to get things done
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
