Internship – Global Raw Materials Sustainability - Nature and Social

“This internship challenged me in the best possible way, I learned how much you can grow when you embrace complexity with the right mindset.”

The internship

To brew great beer, it starts with great raw materials, and we sit right at the heart of making their sourcing more sustainable, today and tomorrow!

During this internship, you step into an international environment where agriculture, sustainability and business come together every day. From deforestation-free supply chains and regenerative agriculture to human rights, responsible sourcing and water stewardship, you’ll work on topics that are global, complex and constantly evolving.

You’ll collaborate across teams, functions and geographies, contribute to live projects, and experience how real progress is built: by asking sharp questions, navigating complexity and turning ambition into action.

Your internship will be shaped around where you can create the most impact given the priorities at that moment in time: examples include regenerative agriculture benchmarking, sustainable sourcing certification and gap analyses, SBTN data and insights, execute specific no-deforestation projects, and driving progress with OpCo’s on their sourcing roadmaps.

Your new team and workplace

Join HEINEKEN’s Global Procurement, Raw Materials team and step into the space where sustainability meets sourcing. Positioned at the heart of how we source our raw materials, our team works directly with buyers while collaborating closely across functions, from procurement and corporate affairs to legal, supply chain, and sustainability experts, as well as with a wide network of external partners and suppliers around the world.

During your internship, you’ll have every opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. We trust and empower you to work with an entrepreneurial mindset. At HEINEKEN, we love bringing the outside world in and welcome fresh, new ideas with open arms. Of course, we’ll make sure you get the guidance that suits you.

The unique you!

We believe everyone has unique talents, which is why we’re looking for you! Energy, drive and the ambition to grow are what make the difference at HEINEKEN. In addition, you bring:

  • Energised by building the future of sustainable agriculture
  • Sharp, curious thinker who challenges and connects the dots
  • Takes ownership, acts fast, and makes things happen
  • Thrives in dynamic, international teams and embraces complexity

“We don’t expect you to have all the answers from day one, we value your mindset, curiosity, and drive to learn more than prior knowledge.”

Even if you feel you don’t meet all the criteria, we encourage you to apply. An internship is the perfect opportunity to learn and grow!
