Internship opportunity in Robotics at HEINEKEN

"Working on robotics in a real brewery environment has been the most exciting part of my internship. Every day brings new challenges, from testing new concepts to improving existing robots and creating real impact on the shop floor."

The internship

Are you passionate about robotics, automation, and real-world innovation? Join HEINEKEN’s Robotics Pilot Brewery in Zoeterwoude as a Robotics Intern and help shape the future of robotics in our brewery operations. This internship is ideal for students in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields who want to work hands-on with cutting-edge technology in a dynamic industrial setting.

During your internship, you will:

  • Contribute to the development and testing of robotics Proofs of Concept (PoCs).
  • Identify, develop and validate new robotics use cases across the brewery.
  • Support the optimization and scaling of existing robotic solutions, including AMRs, Spot, and other technologies.
  • Work closely with operations to maximize the value and impact of deployed robots.
  • Translate operational challenges into concrete robotics applications and project proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Robotics team, brewery staff, and external partners.

During your internship you will get the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as a company, also outside your department. We give you the trust and freedom, so you can work like a real entrepreneur. We like to bring the outside world inside and therefore we embrace new, fresh ideas with enthusiasm. Of course always with the guidance that is right for you.
