Are you passionate about optimizing operations, solving complex challenges, and creating lasting improvements? We are looking for an Operational Improvement Specialist who will play a key role in driving operational excellence across our farming operations.

In this position, you will work at the heart of our production environment, collaborating with teams across Farming, Technical Services, Quality, and Support Functions to identify opportunities, implement improvements, and deliver measurable results. Your work will directly contribute to higher efficiency, stronger operational reliability, improved fish performance, and enhanced product quality.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Operational Improvement Specialist, you will:

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase productivity, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Analyze workflows, processes, and production data to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Drive standardization through the development and implementation of SOPs, best practices, and operational standards.
  • Facilitate root cause analyses and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept to implementation and sustainable adoption.
  • Support operational teams during change initiatives and help embed new ways of working.
  • Contribute to digitalization and automation projects that improve operational effectiveness and information flow.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For

You are a hands-on improvement professional who enjoys working closely with operations while maintaining a strategic perspective.

You bring:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in operational improvement, process optimization, or continuous improvement within a production environment.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing change within operational teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A pragmatic, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Affinity with aquaculture, agriculture, food production, or other biological production environments is a strong advantage.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
