As a Technical Service Support Engineer within the Manure team, you play a central role in connecting our global service network, product development and daily operations on the farm. You ensure that complex technical challenges are not only solved, but structurally improved across products, processes and regions.

You will join a team of specialists responsible for the Manure portfolio, including the Discovery 90 S and SW, the Discovery Collector and the N-Capture solution within Lely Sphere. Together, you contribute to innovative systems that improve animal welfare, farm efficiency and sustainability.

Within the team, you take ownership in creating structure, maintaining overview and aligning stakeholders to continuously improve our solutions and the way we support them worldwide.

Your main responsibilities:

  • You coordinate the resolution of complex technical issues, supporting service engineers and regional teams worldwide and ensuring timely and effective follow-up
  • You analyze recurring issues and translate them into structural improvements, working closely with Product Development and Product Management
  • You act as a key connector between field, product teams and internal stakeholders, ensuring that insights from farmers and service engineers are captured and prioritized
  • You drive continuous improvement by identifying patterns in data and initiating process or product optimizations
  • You contribute to knowledge development by structuring and improving training materials, documentation and knowledge sharing, based on the needs of the technicians in the field which you represent.
  • You validate new solutions and improvements, ensuring they meet the quality and reliability standards expected from Lely products.

What is your experience?

You are a professional who enjoys bringing structure to complex technical environments and feels comfortable working at the intersection of technology, processes and stakeholders. You do not need to be the deepest technical expert, but you understand how systems work and how to improve them.

We are looking for someone who brings:

  • A completed HBO or WO degree, preferably in Technical Business Administration or a comparable field focused on technology and processes.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical service environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to see the bigger picture in order to translate complex problems into structured improvements.
  • A natural tendency to create overview, set priorities and coordinate between different stakeholders.
  • Affinity with technology and interest in understanding how technical systems function in practice.
  • Strong communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and regions.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and willingness to travel internationally when needed.

What you can expect from us

Working at Lely means contributing to sustainable progress within one of the most innovative organizations in the Netherlands. You help make the agricultural sector future-proof, and we ensure you have all the space, resources, and support you need to do so.

  • An international working environment with room for initiative and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent employment conditions, including up to 8 weeks of vacation per year and a strong pension plan.
  • Strong career development opportunities: you are in control of your growth and can choose from various training programs through our Lely Academy, ranging from personal development to role-specific courses.
  • Our modern Lely Campus offers extensive daily access to sports facilities: an indoor gym, outdoor padel courts, basketball and volleyball courts, table tennis, and table football. You can join Hyrox workouts or sign up for personal training, and challenge colleagues during an active break.
  • Enjoy fresh coffee and tea from our in-house barista, with milk straight from our farm, as well as a healthy and affordable company restaurant.
  • A healthy work-life balance thanks to our hybrid working policy: you work at least three days per week on campus, with flexible hours and plenty of opportunity to spend additional time on-site (between 06:00 and 20:00).
  • You have the opportunity to participate in a preventative medical check-up.
  • A free shuttle bus takes you to and from the metro in Maassluis, ensuring your workday starts and ends smoothly.
  • Success should be celebrated: from anniversaries to holiday parties, at Lely we know how to do it.
