Join Equinix as a Sales Intern and gain hands-on experience with the EMEA Opportunity Development Team, a young and dynamic team made up of more than 12 nationalities across five locations in Europe. The team supports sales in the initial stages of the sales cycle, and you will work on the front line in sales with support from a dedicated buddy throughout your internship.

Job Summary

You will be joining the EMEA Opportunity Development Team, supporting the sales team in the initial stages of the sales cycle and gaining hands-on frontline sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Research accounts and identify key personas
  • Acquire key and targeted personas through a variety of available tools
  • Generate interest, qualify leads, and create pipeline growth via phone calls, emails, and social media in the assigned territory
  • Generate discovery meetings and calls for Account Executives
  • Leverage teammates, including Managers, Account Executives, and Digital/Tech Specialists, to develop targeted lists, call strategies, and messaging to drive opportunities and prospecting activities
  • Follow up on campaigns and provide detailed feedback on the success of each campaign to the Sales Management Team and Marketing Managers
  • Actively participate in Regional Sales Team calls and meetings
  • Engage with Marketing for Regional Events support
  • Record and document all calls, emails, meetings, tours, and activities in SFDC
  • Report on weekly results, both qualitative and quantitative
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders in assigned accounts and prospects

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university or college, in the penultimate year of bachelor’s or master’s degree studies (Graduation between December 2026 - September 2027)
  • Available to work full-time for the entire duration of the Summer Internship Program (between July to September, depending on your school system)
  • Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively and effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with business proficiency in English and Dutch
  • Ability to create accurate and punctual reports, deliver presentations, and share information and ideas with others
  • Analytically driven and detail-oriented, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and aptitude to learn new software
