Job description

Based in Venlo, the Warehouse Coordinator coordinates all processes and people within a specific area in the warehouse to ensure all warehousing activities are balanced against each other, enough and the correct resources are allocated to secure the day-to-day business, and to serve as the SPOC for all operational questions regarding the specific area.

What you will do:

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for:

Operational execution

  • Able to execute the standard logistics activities in the specific area

Operational coordination

  • Ensure and assign sufficient resources are planned on each activity
  • Responsible for streamlining the different activities within the specific area before, at the start of, and during the day to balance service and efficiency to an optimal level

Warehouse administration

  • Check that internal documentation, like check forms, are GDP compliant, signed, and completed on time
  • Ensure and check if employee time is registered accurately
  • Check that all requested employees are planned and show up
  • Be the SPOC for any operational escalations (e.g. IS disruptions) for that specific area

Supervisor support

  • Support in providing objective employee feedback
  • Support the operational supervisor in overall operational decision making regarding employees, equipment, workload balancing, and other areas that will improve service levels or operational efficiency

Support GEMBA management

  • Ensure 6S audits are properly done and actions are followed up
  • Ensure that operational data (e.g. statistics, daily report out) is available for the specific area to enable daily reviews and daily start-up of operations
  • Lead small projects that positively improve operational outcomes on service, quality, and cost in the specific area
  • Participate in cross-area projects to assess impact in the specific area and to support the overall CDC Venlo objectives
  • Drive a culture of everybody, everyday

What you need:

Required:

  • Minimal 2+ years of technical education with degree and relevant work experience of 3-5 years
  • Fluent English language skills (min. level A2)
  • Minimal 1-year experience of coordinating logistics processes
  • Thorough experience with operational WHS processes
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with QMS and ISO13485 environment
  • Experience in LEAN tools
  • High level of personal culture
  • Experience in leading people
  • Good knowledge/experience in logistic processes
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Strong communication skills
  • Flexibility
  • Team player
  • Stress resistant
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments
  • Ability to work on shifts, when needed

Preferred:

  • ERP Oracle 11 experience is an advantage
