Responsible for supporting the financial reporting and projection process, delivering the necessary insights to senior management on the performance of the division.
The role will coordinate with various stakeholders in a matrix organization, including divisional finance, sales & marketing teams, local finance, the European Financial Shared Service Center, and the FP&A team.
The tasks include FP&A activities covering reporting of results (month-end close and dashboard), planning and forecasting preparation and submission, and day-to-day support to the Divisional Finance teams and Sales & Marketing functions.
In addition, the Finance Analyst will maintain and develop existing internal processes and reporting tools and act as a referent for these areas.
Responsibilities
Business support
- Act as a business controller for the divisions supported in terms of Actuals, Forecast, Budget, and Strategic Plan, and serve as a strategic business partner.
- Be autonomous on recurring activities such as sales reporting, risks, and opportunities.
- Undertake ad hoc analysis and projects as required by the business to support key decisions, such as inventory management, profitability analysis, commissions, and bonus.
- Build effective relationships with Finance, Divisional Finance, Regional Marketing, Sales leadership, and country teams.
Reporting
- Provide divisional and European management with reporting and analysis and ensure they are delivered timely and accurately.
- Standardize and automate reporting as much as possible to limit workload on reporting activities and focus on business partnering.
- Utilize market intelligence data and reports to perform analysis of competitors’ results and evaluate market share position.
- Directly participate in the accounting cycle and the preparation of financial documents and statements.
- Prepare and interpret operating results as they affect progress toward financial goals and objectives, analyze variances between actual and expected financial results, and participate in EU Flash reviews.
- Work on ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested.

System Experience
- Strong visualization and reporting experience: MS Power BI, Tableau, PowerPoint.
- MS Power BI power user.
- HFM experience is a plus.
- ERP system knowledge is a plus (Oracle / GLWand / SAP).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Fluent spoken and written English. Any other European language is a plus.
- An accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA) is preferred.
Experience
- 3–5+ years of relevant working experience in a finance function, preferably in a matrixed international environment.
- Exposure to various reporting systems and an understanding of how these tie into the business.
- Track record of driving results by delivering strong financial insights to the business.
