Role Description
At Booking.com, data drives our decisions. Technology is at our core. And innovation is everywhere.
About the role
The Connectivity Ecosystem department focuses on orchestrating the hospitality tech ecosystem to become the strategic partner of choice for accommodations. The team is currently evolving from a manual, relationship-driven model to a scalable, digital self-service model powered by its Salesforce-based platform, the Connectivity Provider Hub.
As the Partner Ecosystem Technology Lead, you will own the delivery of provider-facing Salesforce capabilities within Connectivity Partnerships. You will translate commercial program requirements into working platform solutions across Experience Cloud, Loyalty Management, and Partner Ecosystem Management.
This role operates as both a product owner and a platform specialist, spending half of the time hands-on configuring and delivering solutions with minimal engineering dependency. You are the crucial bridge between business teams who define what providers need and the Salesforce platform that delivers it.
What makes this role interesting:
- Greenfield build: You will stand up Loyalty Management and Partner Ecosystem Management from scratch, shaping the future state rather than just maintaining legacy systems.
- Visible business impact: You will influence how thousands of connectivity providers interact with Booking.com, impacting performance across millions of properties.
- Ownership with autonomy: You will own a dedicated backlog and drive execution end-to-end, holding external partners accountable for delivery.
- Part of something bigger: You will directly contribute to a cross-Salesforce platform vision across the entire accommodations business.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Independently design, configure, and deliver Salesforce solutions end-to-end, spending half time on hands-on implementation while ensuring scalability, maintainability, and governance.
- Act as the Product Owner for Provider Self-Service, leading backlog prioritization, quarterly planning, and sprint execution to minimize dependency on engineering teams.
- Own functional governance for Partner Ecosystem capabilities (Experience Cloud, Loyalty, PEM), including data quality, security, and org health standards.
- Manage the scope of work and budget for external implementation partners, holding vendors accountable for complex architecture, delivery quality, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Service Cloud Platform Managers to ensure consistent data models, shared configuration standards, and aligned release management.
- Build and scale a self-service Partner Ecosystem that reduces manual operations, drives measurable gains in partner engagement, and increases partner autonomy.
Role Qualifications and Requirements:
- Platform & Ecosystem Experience: 5+ years of experience in Salesforce product management, platform ownership, or similar roles in complex environments.
- Technical Expertise: Deep experience utilizing Salesforce Experience Cloud, Salesforce Loyalty Management, Salesforce Partner Engagement Management (PEM), and Salesforce CMS.
- Strategic Product Ownership: Strong business acumen with the ability to translate commercial objectives into scalable platform solutions and Partner Management strategy.
- Governance & Feasibility: Deep understanding of CRM ecosystems, integrations, and how to leverage standard "clicks-not-code" Salesforce capabilities while maintaining org health.
- Execution Mindset: High performer with excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage parallel tracks, and operate with a strong experimentation, test, and learn mindset.
- Communication: Exceptional oral and written communication skills to facilitate discussions with both executives and execution teams.
- Salesforce Certifications: Recognized expert holding multiple certifications, specifically: Advanced Admin, Experience Cloud Consultant, and Loyalty Cloud.
