Mount Analytics - (Senior) Manager

At Mount Analytics, processing data is our core business. We use data to develop, train and implement models as well as create a more in-depth understanding of business processes at our clients. We believe that data should never be processed in isolation or without the proper context. Therefore, we supply contextual analytics that take into account what the data represents and not just the number or text stored in a file or database.

Role

As a (senior) manager, you are part of our delivery team for client projects as well as the development and delivery of our own products.

• Perform the day-to-day management of our client projects
• Provide on-the-job guidance to our analysts and engineers
• Identify trends, develop new propositions and expand our customer base
• Define and update our go-to-market product strategies

In addition, we expect our managers to have a good understanding of analytics and/or software engineering to ensure proper advice to our clients and teams. Given the current rate of change in the market, you will need to stay on top of new market trends and suggest strategic changes where necessary.

Your profile

We are looking for ambitious and experienced people who have a clear understanding of analytics, how to best apply it and how to provide guidance to our clients on adopting new technology.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in (Quantitative) Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science or Economics
• 5+ years of working experience
• Proven track record in management of (project) teams
• Ability to design and implement target operating models
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis or data engineering

Our company

Mount Analytics was established in 2023 by four founders with an extensive background in Risk, Finance, Data and Artificial Intelligence. We provide a broad range of data services to our customers, including data collection, data quality measurement, data science, forecasting models, reporting and visualisation. In addition, we have developed models to estimate the potential impact of climate risk, a framework for automated data statistics and models to read and scrutinize data processing programming languages.

We work closely together with Mount Consulting to provide additional industry expertise for our clients in the financial sector.
