Are You The Next Rookie?
- Enrolled in a Dutch college or university (Bachelor’s or Master’s) for the full duration of the internship (September 2026 – June 2027)
- Hold EU citizenship, or are a non-EU student studying in the Netherlands
- Internship is a mandatory part of your curriculum
- Humble and hungry, with a strong willingness to learn
As a Software Quality Assurance Rookie
- QA AI Based Process Improvement and Automation: You will have the opportunity to leverage AI for QA automation and increase the efficiency of daily QA activities and processes by implementing QA automation practices, making them more error-proof and less time consuming.
- You will be responsible for attending agile ceremonies, getting QA tasks from the scrum board, owning the testing process of your responsibility area, preparing test cases if needed, executing test cases, reporting issues, and verifying that the testing scope is clearly defined and executed.
Your Impact
- You analyze current QA processes in the scrum teams, identify pain points, suggest improvement actions, implement proof-of-concept solutions, organize review meetings, and collect feedback
- You participate in multiple cross-functional product development teams and scrum ceremonies
- You create defects related to issues found during the test execution period
- You define the testing scope of the tickets assigned to you
- You partner closely with cross-functional teams such as Product, Design, Engineering, and Delivery to proactively identify and manage QA dependencies, scope, and acceptance criteria
- You deeply understand user flows in the apps and website
- You take initiative to chase down answers and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews and Demos
- You coordinate keeping project artifacts up to date in business systems like Confluence and JIRA
- You escalate issues and impacts to delivery timelines and work proactively with teams to remove barriers to project execution
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program in digital, computer science, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of agile principles and scrum processes
- Basic knowledge of performing root cause, change impact, and risk-based test analysis
