Medior Frontend Engineer

📍 Eindhoven HQ — Hybrid (3+ days/week in office)

As a Medior Frontend Engineer in the Engineering team, you’ll work across different parts of the platform, building tools and experiences that make life easier for thousands of merchants each month while helping the company scale globally.

Sendcloud powers 30,000+ online retailers, marketplaces, and fulfillment companies, helping them ship smarter, grow faster, and get things done for their customers. The team is building a platform that solves shipping at scale, globally.

Role Overview

You’ll collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and fellow frontend engineers to build accessible, high-performance interfaces.

What you'll do

• Build responsive, interactive web applications using Vue.js (TypeScript, Pinia, Vite, and TanStack Query)
• Write semantic HTML and CSS from scratch with accessibility at the forefront
• Construct modular, well-structured UIs with a strong eye for design and detail
• Review code thoroughly and actively help raise quality standards across the team
• Collaborate daily with designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver great outcomes
• Work iteratively in an Agile environment and proactively drive improvements to how the team operates

Professionally

• 3+ years of hands-on frontend development experience
• Expertise in modern TypeScript, including testing and debugging
• Experience with a modern JavaScript framework — the team uses Vue.js with Pinia and Vite
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards and best practices
• Strong modern CSS skills and the ability to write semantic HTML from scratch
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with design, product, and engineering teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills in English
• Based in the Netherlands
