Job Description

As of July 2026, this internship offers the opportunity to support Corrections & Removals activities in the Post Market Surveillance area at Philips.

Your role:

Support Corrections & Removals activities in the Post Market Surveillance area:

  • Support in Field Safety Notice communication to customers and performing of C&R due diligence activities.
  • Management of customers’ replies
  • Management of Quality Work Orders in the Philips tool

The Intern is responsible for managing a dedicated departmental support process which has an indirect impact on Philips’ med-tech products by collaborating with stakeholders and supporting daily activities typically involving strategic, operational and/or administrative tasks to meet dynamic and continuous improvement goals, exercising autonomy within established procedures. The role conducts research on relevant topics, analyzes data to identify significant trends, and provides actionable recommendations for strategic direction. The role participates in team meetings, offering innovative ideas and capturing detailed minutes, while also preparing and presenting accurate reports for stakeholders. The role also organizes and maintains departmental documentation, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance, and stays updated on industry trends and best practices, displaying a commercial and growth mindset.

Required Competencies and Skills:

  • Communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to cooperate with other functions in the organization
  • Bachelor degree preferred, ideally in Biomedical Engineering
  • Must be able to speak, understand and write fluently both English and Spanish
  • Application software: Microsoft Office, main browsers
  • Knowledge of EU MDR recommended
  • Recommended knowledge of ISO standards 9001 and 13485

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
