Job Description

The Philips Sonicare Dental Professional Marketing Director is a global leadership role responsible for defining and executing the strategy for Philips’ Dental Professional business, with a strong focus on driving dental professional advocacy, recommendation, and endorsement of Philips Sonicare solutions to patients.

The role leads the development of global DP marketing strategies, engagement programs, and digitally enabled capabilities that strengthen professional influence, deepen practitioner engagement, and accelerate business growth through scalable omnichannel activation and commercial excellence.

A key responsibility is leading the digital transformation of the DP marketing ecosystem by advancing CRM, automation, AI-enabled marketing, advanced analytics, and connected engagement platforms to improve customer experience and drive recommendation at scale.

The Director oversees global go-to-market plans, educational initiatives, omnichannel engagement strategies, and field enablement programs, ensuring aligned and effective execution across regions. Working closely with commercial and regional teams, the role drives strategic alignment, KPI delivery, and investment effectiveness to maximize business impact.

In addition, the role leads a high-performing global Dental Professional marketing team and builds strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders, professional associations, and industry stakeholders to ensure the voice of the dental professional is embedded into Philips’ DP marketing strategy, go-to-market plans, engagement programs, and category positioning. The role works closely with global cross-functional stakeholders and acts as a global advocate for the Dental Professional within the Oral Healthcare organization.

Your role:

  • Strategic Vision: Define the B2B dental marketing strategy and strengthen OHC brand positioning among dental professionals to drive trust and engagement. Define global enablers and ensure timely execution via a global team.
  • Digital vision and roadmap: Develop a compelling vision for omnichannel engagement, enable pilots, and drive scale to create a world-class engagement program with Dental Professionals.
  • Go-to-Market & DP Advocacy Playbook: Lead go-to-market strategy for B2B product launches (PTB, ZOOM!, PID) and own the global DP playbook to build recommendation and endorsement.
  • End-to-end communication strategy & execution: Work closely with the Brand Building Leader to translate the Sonicare brand platform into a multi-year, end-to-end marcom plan, including patient-facing in-practice and DP-facing brand communications, as well as brand and NPI campaigns.
  • Program Enablement, KPI Tracking & Regional Alignment: Provide strategic insights and collaborate strongly with regional teams to ensure effective execution, including defining leading and lagging KPIs, DP tracker, and driving monthly tracking and reporting.
  • Team Leadership & Thought Influence: Lead and build capabilities of the end-to-end global DP team in a digital-native DP marketing organization.
  • Drives Marketing Planning Process: Drive the marketing planning process together with the regions to define joint enablers and KPIs for the SPOR and BMC planning process.
  • Owner of BU DP Marketing A&P: Own BU DP Marketing A&P and advise regional DP spend.

You're the right fit if:

  • You bring 10+ years (Master’s) or 15+ years (Bachelor’s) of experience in B2B, professional, digital, or healthcare marketing leadership roles within global, matrixed organizations.
  • Proven track record in driving customer or consumer engagement and building advocacy.
  • Strong experience leading digital transformation across marketing, CRM, automation, omnichannel engagement, and customer experience.
  • Expertise in data-driven engagement strategies, performance marketing, lead generation, and omnichannel activation.
  • Experience leading global go-to-market strategies and execution for product launches and professional engagement programs.
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen, with experience managing KPIs, investment effectiveness, and ROI optimization.
  • Proven people leadership and cross-functional influence within complex global organizations.
  • Experience building high-performing teams, capabilities, and scalable marketing best practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to adapt communication style from executive to field teams.
  • Passion for innovation, digital engagement, and advancing Oral Healthcare outcomes.
  • A pragmatic, can-do strategic mindset that creates a compelling vision and drives excellence in execution.
