Talentech builds products that help people find jobs and help organisations find the right talent. We believe HR tech should be smarter, simpler, and more human.

We are building an AI-powered platform that raises the bar for recruitment and talent management across the Nordics.

We are now looking for a Junior Product Designer (UX) who wants to grow in product design while working on real customer-facing product improvements.

This role can be based in one of our Talentech office locations, but strong Danish language skills are required.

About the role

As a Junior Product Designer, you will work on user journeys in our recruitment and HR products. You will help turn user needs, product ideas, and business goals into clear, usable product experiences together with product managers, engineers, and design colleagues.

This is a junior role, but it is still a hands-on product role. You will contribute to discovery, interaction design, prototyping, UI design, accessibility, and delivery. You will get guidance and feedback along the way, with room to take on more responsibility as you grow.

The designer will work closely with Danish users, customers, and product context, so strong spoken and written Danish is required.

How we design and build

We work in small steps, but we care about the bigger goal. Product, design, and tech work closely together, and we focus on the flows that matter most to our users.

Our work is guided by:

  • Clear user needs and product goals
  • Simple and understandable user journeys
  • Shared patterns, components, and standards
  • Accessibility and usability as baseline quality
  • Close collaboration between product, design, and engineering
  • Buildable solutions that can become real product improvements

AI is becoming part of our design and product work. We use it where it helps us explore faster, improve quality, and make better decisions.

In this role, you will

  • Design user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI for product improvements
  • Work with existing design patterns and components
  • Help make product experiences more consistent across our products
  • Take part in discovery work, from preparing and running user interviews to reviewing feedback, mapping journeys, and testing prototypes, with guidance when needed
  • Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand goals, constraints, and implementation needs
  • Learn how product ideas become real software
  • Improve usability and accessibility in the product
  • Use AI tools responsibly as part of your design workflow
  • Learn how to design for complex HR and recruitment workflows over time

We’re looking for someone who

  • Is early in their career as a Product Designer, UX Designer, Digital Designer, or similar
  • Has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent higher education in UX, product design, digital design, interaction design, service design, human-computer interaction, or a related field
  • Has a portfolio with 1–3 cases
  • Can show work from studies, internships, student jobs, freelance work, personal projects, or professional experience
  • Has good UX fundamentals and can explain their thinking clearly
  • Enjoys designing flows, interactions, forms, screens, and prototypes
  • Is curious about users and wants to learn how to test and improve product ideas
  • Works well with others and is open to feedback
  • Cares about quality, usability, and accessibility
  • Is curious about AI tools and how they can improve design work
  • Has strong Danish language skills
  • Is comfortable working in English

Nice to have

  • Internship, student job, freelance, or 1–3 years of experience in a UX, product, or digital design role
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools
  • Experience with design systems, components, or shared UI patterns
  • Experience with SaaS, admin tools, HR tech, recruitment, or workflow-heavy products
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or how digital products are built
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, analytics, or product experiments

What you can grow into

This role is a path toward becoming a stronger Product Designer.

You will grow your skills in:

  • Product discovery
  • Interaction design
  • UI design
  • Accessibility
  • Design systems and shared patterns
  • Collaboration with engineers
  • Product delivery
  • AI-supported design workflows
  • Designing for complex B2B SaaS products

You will be part of a team that cares about practical design, buildable solutions, and products that help people and organisations make better decisions.

About us

Talentech is a leading Nordic HR platform.

We support organisations throughout the employee lifecycle, from attracting and recruiting the right talent to onboarding, developing, engaging, and retaining people over time.

Across the Nordics and Europe, we combine deep HR tech expertise, strong local presence, and broad product capabilities.

We are building the next generation of Talentech: a smarter, simpler, and more human HR platform that helps our customers build thriving workplaces where people grow and businesses succeed.
