Internship – Marketing Capabilities

The internship

This Internship is part of the Global Commerce University (GCU) that develops Marketing Capabilities across Brand Building, Innovation, RMG & Sales. Through online Masterclasses + e-learnings, these capabilities are implemented throughout the Commerce organization worldwide. The GCU also leads the Capability Builders Community, a community that supports the embedding of the capabilities in the operating countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support in development and deployment of Masterclasses and E-Learnings including related materials and communications
  • Logistical support for E-Learnings and Masterclasses (scheduling, coordination with relevant parties, technical support)
  • Coordinating communication to Commerce Community & Capability Builders
  • Maintenance of the internal website of Global Commerce University, updating Commerce events calendar
  • Support in development and roll-out of Regional Creative Councils at Heineken

During your internship you will support the Senior Capability Managers from the GCU in developing and implementing marketing capabilities.

  • Currently enrolled/ a degree in Business and/or related fields
  • Canva/ design skills are a Plus

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during your onboarding.
  2. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution.
  3. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU.
  4. You reside in the Netherlands for the entire duration of your internship. Please note that HEINEKEN does not provide housing.
  5. You are in possession of a valid citizen service number (BSN).

Our Internship Conditions

  • A full-time internship, starting on September 1, 2026
  • The duration of the internship is 6 months (to be agreed upon with your internship supervisor)
  • At HEINEKEN, we work with a hybrid model, typically spending three days a week at the office and two days working from home
  • You will earn 2 vacation days per month (based on a full-time internship)
  • If you do not have a public transport student subscription, your commuting costs will be fully reimbursed
