We’re looking for an experienced technology leader to join Trivium as part of the Global Applications and Data Solutions department, supporting primary business applications including the SAP platform.

The Global IT Technology Operations Director leads a team responsible for the stability, reliability, and operational excellence of Trivium’s core SAP and other enterprise applications. This role works closely with Business Technology teams, infrastructure, and Centers of Excellence across Data, AI, and Software Development to translate strategic ambitions and strategic decisions into team-level execution and ensure alignment and synergy across all levels.

The director is responsible for providing a solid foundation for Trivium’s application landscape, both within and beyond the team. This includes ensuring technical infrastructure meets business requirements, establishing scalable support models with nearshore and offshore capabilities, and focusing on business continuity and adaptability. The role defines and drives Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) practices across all IT teams to ensure end-to-end ownership, independence, scalability, business continuity, and business alignment for all technology solutions. The role also includes managing enterprise vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Technology Enablement:

  • Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of Architecture and Application Lifecycle Management inside and outside the Technology Enablement teams.
  • Create and foster a culture of ownership, transparency, accountability, knowledge sharing, skill development, collaboration, and feedback across technology teams.
  • Grow digital adoption in AI, Data, and Automation across Technology Enablement and Business Technology teams.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to other functions and teams, ensuring IT foundations proactively support evolving needs and maximize the value of investments.
  • Build centralized scalable third-party services to support business technology teams and ensure business continuity of systems.

Technology Operations & Architecture:

  • Oversee the technical backbone and foundational platforms, including cloud infrastructure, API management, integrations, OT setup, and data and AI solutions that support business solutions.
  • Ensure technology operations teams empower other teams with the right tools, processes, and standards while maintaining as much independence as possible.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Ensure all technology solutions adhere to Trivium’s information security, enterprise architecture, and compliance standards, including GDPR, Data Governance, and the IT Controls Framework.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts related to cross-team solutions, technology foundations, and ALM.

Education & Training

  • Technical master’s degree in engineering, computer science, data science, or a related field preferred.
  • Deep understanding of modern cloud technology platforms, including SAP and support processes.

Experience

  • Minimum 10 years of working experience in strategic functions in support and/or Application Lifecycle Management.

What We Offer

  • Exciting transformation leadership role working closely with key stakeholders to realize Trivium’s digital transformation through the implementation and optimization of effective and efficient centralized technology services for business applications.
