R&D Welding Engineer

The Eindhoven office is a hub for cutting-edge R&D, focused on developing specialized equipment for the challenges of the offshore environment.

Your role

As R&D Engineer Welding you will join our welding development team, where you will bridge the gap between experimental welding research and production facilities on our fleet of state-of-the-art pipelay vessels. Together with a multidisciplinary team, you will translate the latest developments into practical solutions that can withstand the harsh offshore environment and meet the most stringent standards required by clients.

What we expect from you

• MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science or similar;
• Familiarity with welding standards relevant to offshore construction;
• (Beneficial) IWE or equivalent certification;
• 0-4 years relevant experience;
• Strong analytical skills and technical insight;
• Creative and resilient mind-set;
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
