Global Trade Solutions Senior Trade Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer (1 FTE) (Director / VP)

In this role, you will work in our Trade Finance and Supply Chain Management department at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking, delivering balanced risk mitigation and working capital solutions to facilitate cross-border business along the value chain. Combining speed with safe transactional processing has the highest priority.

You will work as a Senior Trade Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Officer.

In this position, you will run your own client portfolio of large corporates and strategic clients, focusing on origination of Trade Finance solutions, especially Working Capital deals across Receivables, Payables and Inventory. You will also be at the center of all Supply Chain Management related communication in the Netherlands and work closely with internal stakeholders such as Relationship Managers.

Your responsibilities

• Originate and lead implementation of Trade and Working Capital deals for clients and prospects at BNP Paribas Netherlands Branch.
• Monitor market and sector developments which can impact various trade finance products for existing and potential clients.
• Develop Client Action Plans and client pitches in close collaboration with the relationship manager and other stakeholders for relevant clients.

Who you are

You have a Finance, Legal or Economics Masters degree and 7 to 15 years of relevant work experience. You understand the different clients we serve and can navigate deal origination, P&L and balance sheets. You have project management skills, are a strong communicator, analytical, and a great colleague to work with. English is required; Dutch is a plus.
